Welcome to MEAD 2025!!! Thank you for joining us for Arizona’s largest mathematics education event!

To register for MEAD, follow the directions on the Registration Information tab to claim your Eventbrite ticket and then return here to create your SCHED account using the same email address. Please make sure to LOG IN Sched, in order to select conference sessions in the Schedule tab.

For other concerns, please contact the UA Center for Recruitment and Retention of Mathematics Teachers (CRR) at math-crr@arizona.edu.

For important updates about the conference and exciting news about CRR programs, follow our social media!

I forgot my Sched password, what should I do?

If you have used Sched before, but can’t remember your password, go to Sched.com, type in your email, and request to reset your password. Make sure to use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS that you used in Eventbrite so that your ticket transfers!

How do I create an agenda for the MEAD Conference?

After registering at Eventbrite, attendees will receive an email with information on how to activate your SCHED account, log into the schedule, and sign up for sessions.

As the activation invitation message comes through an automated email system via SCHED, please make sure to check your "spam" or "promotions" folders for this message. Please add math-crr@arizona.edu and notifications@sched.com to your contacts to make sure your invitation and other conference announcements are delivered to your primary inbox.

Once your SCHED account is activated, you can select the sessions you’d like to add to your schedule and create your own personal agenda for the conference. Your choice on Eventbrite of either an In-Person or Virtual ticket will limit which sessions you can select.

You can add sessions in several ways, either by clicking on the circle next to the session name so it changes to a check-mark or by clicking on the “add to my sched” button on the session description pages. For complete details on setting up your account and personalized agenda, visit the Sched Guide for Attendees!

If you are attending with a group of colleagues from your school or district, we encourage you to divide and conquer! When you separate out and attend sessions on your own, you can attend a wider number of different sessions during each time slot. After the conference, you can share notes, handouts and lesson ideas, bringing the broadest range of resources back to your school!

How do I know what I signed up to attend? Can I change my schedule?

You can log-back into SCHED at any time to review your schedule, change your schedule or review session descriptions. Once you have selected your sessions, see your schedule by hovering over your profile picture and selecting My Schedule. Plan to finalize your schedule by Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

On the morning of the conference, you will receive an email from SCHED with your personalized agenda! In-person participants will see their schedule and location of their sessions. Virtual participants will have access to Zoom links for their sessions.

You can also access SCHED easily from your smartphone or tablet - see the Sched Guide for Attendees for detailed directions if you need them!

For those attending MEAD in-person, please download and login to the Sched mobile app, where you can access your agenda, maps, and conference evaluations.

Where is the conference this year?
MEAD is a HYBRID event with in-person and virtual options for registration.
In-person participants can enjoy breakfast while exploring the Exhibition Hall at Tucson High Magnet School.
The Keynote Address will be live-streamed on the MEAD keynote webpage for those not able to attend the Keynote Luncheon at the UA Grand Ballroom.
